Summer Drama Camp

Each year, the Center for Education and Performing Arts hosts a wonderful experience for our community’s youth. Shortly after the close of the school year, we open the center for two weeks to host the Summer Drama Camp.

The Camp is open to students age 6-18 years old and divided into two age groups. All students receive personal instruction from Pell City High School Drama Department Chair Ginger McCurry, as well as from some of the program’s most experienced actors.

Campers will experience all aspects of the theatre, from improvisation and theatre games to technical and performance skills. These skills will be showcased when the campers perform in their own production on the final day of camp.

Registration forms along with camp dates and cost to attend will be published here in the Spring. Please check back for more information or call the administrative office at (205) 338-1974.
