On February 27, American Idol 2018 contestant Brandon Elder will perform for CEPA’s singer/songwriter series, Local Sounds.
According to the Times Daily, Elder auditioned for American Idol in September 2017 at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in Tuscumbia, where he received a Golden Ticket, which guaranteed him a trip to Hollywood to perform for the popular TV show. Out of around 1,200 auditions that day, only a few dozen golden tickets were handed out, with Brandon being one of the lucky few.
American Idol premieres March 11 at on ABC, but you have the chance to see this Idol contestant first at the Center for Education and Performing Arts in Pell City. The show on Tuesday, Feb. 27 begins at 7 p.m. and features a special performance by Abby Hufnagle.
Local Sounds Tickets are on sale now. Prices are $7 prior to the event. On the day of the event, tickets will be sold at the door for $10. Kids under 12 attend free.
